Moorpark Civil War Reenactment

The former location for this event is being developed into a walnut grove. The new location is comparatively barren, but with the arrival of the Blue and Gray, there was no lack of activity in the area. The new battlefield is on a slope, and the spectator view is similar to an elevated perspective and is rather nice for photography.

I do not know which one the war was about, but the ladies were particularly well-dressed this year. Also, because water was less available at the new site, the soldiers looked especially worn and dirty. Thus, photographing the people resulting in some splendid images.
