The Journey Ends

One of the last photographs made during the last evening of the journey. Light spotlights the gnarled tree and reflected sky in a small pool of water adds incidental interest and balances the image. I followed this photograph with a few others that excluded the puddle, but they had considerably less impact and seemed to be "just another old tree" in nice light. This version, though, seems complete, and gives the tree a strong element to dominate.
