Field of the Forgotten

There was a time, years before I arrived and made this photograph, that children played on the swings and the truck was a source of good service and pleasure. Now the swings and truck decay in a field. It is good that these are inanimate objects, for I am reminded of children who lose interest in their pets and of adults who neglect elderly parents. Perhaps we should be nicer to our old toys, also.
