Over Each Hill and Around Each Bend

Here, I wanted to reveal the sense of exploration of The Palouse. There is something of interest no matter where you are and, from any position, you can see hints of other features worthy of pursuit. In this photograph, I have presented incomplete subjects that invite exploration, rather than their whole. The evenness of tone in black and white reveals the texture of the landscape, but even that view is incomplete without its color.
