Life Glow

I used a portrait film for this. The unexaggerated colors retain the soft, muted green of early spring and the restrained contrast allows for the blossom to glow vividly against the background, rather than explode from it. The simple, curved lines and trio of buds provide grace, elegance and substance. The result is an image that speaks confidently of Life. We do not need to see within the flower itself, for this is not an invasive study of Nature's anatomy, but it is instead an appreciation of Her personality.
