Mid-day light was harsh and unflattering, but a pleasant warm glow prevailed within the archery vendor's tent, where this photograph was made. The arrows were brightly colored, inconsistent with the Renaissance period and competing with the girl for attention. Some post-processing fuss calms their color so that our attention may remain upon the girl.
