Photographed during Bodie Days at Bodie, California. By mid-afternoon, the sky had clouded over, providing soft light without harsh shadows. I thought the cool blue and white would look nice against the warm tones of the old wood. Her pose here is a nice balance of coy and confidence, with enough formality to mimic photographs of earlier times.
