Scene of a Cloudy Day

Without the fence, the whole image falls flat. It anchors the image and points to the structures across the pond. Other elements contribute: an interesting sky, reflections on the pond, and plant stalks against the dark water. Still,that one small piece of fence provides balance and unifies the scene.
