Dune Shadow

Shapes, textures, and contrast describe Oceano Dunes in the afternoon. This view benefits from texture in the sky as well as the dunes. A blank sky would significantly distract from the play of light on the sand. The photograph received a First Place Award at Santa Barbara Fair.
